Lugged by a solo GP38-2 FEC 912 lumbers across the St. Lucie River bound for Fort Pierce

FEC K Branch local 932 has come off the branch and now works the yard alongside the 206 waiting to head north. Storms rage in the distance creating a dramatic sky.

FEC GP38-2 507 takes a decently sized 932 down the K-Branch toward Dairy Feeds where they will drop off and pick up some covered hoppers and run around their train.

FEC 507 takes 950 passed the north end of Port Sewall on their way toward Fort Pierce from West Palm Beach.

FEC 507 hauls a decently sized train from West Palm Beach northbound near Hobe Sound after meeting 101 at Camp Murphy just south of here.

A short 202 ran today out of New Smyrna Beach. Catching a GP38-2 leading on a mainline train here, or anywhere really these days is quite rare. Throwback to the 1980's when this was common.

Reinstated! After about a year FEC 910 is reinstated, based out of New Smyrna working Daytona Beach area industries. For a while these duties were works by Jax local 905.

FEC 905 with two motors heads back north through Bunnell. The two motor configuration is rare for 905 and gave me memories of FEC in the 1980's when that was common.
